Could you use essential oils like Wild Orange etc with other fruit and vegetables? It is concentrated so would not need many drops to add the flavor. Just curious.
Sure! I don’t see a problem with using essential oils at all. Thanks for your question!
You could add a little water and blend the ingredients in a vitamix/blender instead of juicing the ingredients.
Yes. Good idea!
Your post is really a good one. thanks for sharing. If you want to know about various juicers so you can visit below :
I’m so glad you are diving into the world of juicing, ab! Yes, I have juiced beets…and I have to admit, I thought they were VERY earthy. I don’t know how else to describe it. Funny you should ask because I’m thinking about trying them again, giving those beets another shot. Thanks for your comment!
My roommate has a juicer, and I just tried it yesterday! So ridiculously fun! I’ll have to try some of your recipes, though I like the apple-carrot combo. Do you ever use beets?
Thanks for your comments and encouragement. Yes, it does take quite a bit of fruit and/or veggies to make one glass of juice. But, if you buy in bulk, it’s not so bad. For example, when I’m juicing, I’ll check all the grocery stores to see what the best price is on 3-5# bags of apples, oranges, grapefruit, etc. That cuts down the cost a bit. You’ll have to give it a try!
I would love to try a little juice sometime. Maybe you could make me one like you made this am after the holidays. Don’t think I would like the NY one…And I don’t like tomatoes. I am like the girls..I would need some good stuff first…before the real veggie ones. A good friend said how wonderful juicing is but I would have to really try it before I would make a big investment. I heard it is expensive too as you use quite a bit of stuff for a tiny glass of juice. Is that right? Anyway, keep writing and I will keep trying your wonderful ideas.
