2025 Daniel Fast

October 7, 2024 By Kristen Feola

Daniel Fast 2025 No Other Name logo

next fast: January 1-21, 2025

When I began planning for the 2025 Daniel Fast, I immediately thought of the word worship. My desire was to choose a theme that would remind us why we’re fasting in the first place. The Daniel Fast isn’t about what foods we can eat and which ones are off limits. It’s not about getting healthier by cutting out sugar and caffeine for three weeks. It’s not about how “spiritual” we are by committing to 21 days of prayer. The Daniel Fast is about the Lord and knowing him more.

Our limited minds can’t possibly comprehend the whole of who God is, but we do get glimpses of his glory here on Earth. A magnificent sunset leaves us speechless at God’s creativity. Watching ocean waves pound the seashore causes us to be amazed at his power. Seeing him answer a long-awaited prayer makes us feel overwhelmed by his love.

No matter how long you’ve been a Christian—four months, four years, or four decades—you can discover more about God. Author and pastor David Jeremiah says, “Since he is infinite, we will eternally be getting to know him better and better, yet we will never fathom the depths of his nature.”

Do you want to experience God in a deeper way? If so, I invite you to seek God through prayer and fasting. The theme for the 2025 Daniel Fast is “No Other Name,” based upon Acts 4:12: “There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved” (NLT). Though we may put our hope in other things—people, substances, material possessions, job success, etc.—we’ll never find deep, lasting satisfaction and peace apart from the Lord.

Each day of the fast, you’ll focus on a specific attribute of God and praise him for who he is. As you spend time worshiping the Lord, you’ll be strengthened and filled with his Spirit, which will give you wisdom in how to pray for others and to carry out his purposes in your life. Following are a few additional tools to help you on your Daniel Fast journey:

Lent 2022

February 27, 2022 By Kristen Feola

Lent 2022

Lent is a 40-day* commitment to prayer and fasting that’s observed in the six weeks leading up to Easter. This year, the Lenten Fast starts on Ash Wednesday, March 2, and ends on Thursday, April 14.

A person who participates in Lent can choose to fast in a variety of ways, and one option is to do a Daniel Fast.  Following are a a few resources that will encourage you:

  • Follow my 40-day Prayer Guide.
  • Invest in a devotional book to guide your prayer time.
  • Print out a copy of my  Holy Week Prayer Guide and use it the week before Easter.

For more information about the Daniel Fast, visit About the Daniel Fast.

*Note: Ash Wednesday to Holy Thursday is technically 44 days; however, the number of days for penance and fasting before Easter is still 40: 44 days minus six Sundays equals 38, plus Good Friday and Holy Saturday equals 40.

2022 Daniel Fast

December 4, 2021 By Kristen Feola

Pray, Wait, Trust

Do you ever feel like you’re going through the motions in your spiritual life? Is your Bible reading sporadic or even nonexistent? Does your prayer time seem lifeless and boring? If so, you need to join the January 2022 Daniel Fast to be reenergized and refreshed. The fast will be held January 2-22, 2022, and the theme is Pray, Wait, Trust.

In the first part of the book of Acts, the author, Luke, tells us that before Jesus ascended into Heaven, he instructed his disciples to wait for the Holy Spirit to come upon them. As the believers joined together constantly in prayer, they received what God had promised. Filled with supernatural spiritual power, those followers were then equipped to go forward in boldness, which significantly impacted their world and led thousands of others to salvation.

Like those early disciples, we desperately need the Lord’s help to fulfill the purposes God has for us. This year’s theme is perfect for where we are today because we have many, many reasons to be anxious. Just watching or listening the news can cause even the most laid-back person to be afraid. So, what should we do? God’s Word tells us:

“Don’t worry about anything, but pray about everything. With thankful hearts offer up your prayers and requests to God. Then, because you belong to Christ Jesus, God will bless you with peace that no one can completely understand. And this peace will control the way you think and feel” (Phil. 4:6-7 CEV).

The Daniel Fast is about setting aside comfort for 21 days to focus on prayer. Yes, food is allowed on this fast (as opposed to a water fast), which is good news. However, your food choices are limited (see Daniel Fast Food List). That’s also good news. Why? Because every time you crave coffee or chocolate or meat, you’ll remember why you’re doing this fast in the first place. Instead of giving in to temptation, you’ll experience victory by turning to God instead of food.

Join me and believers all around the world as we join together in prayer and fasting this January. We will:

Pray for our needs and others’ needs.

Wait on the Lord to answer in his way and in his timing.

Trust God to work out his plans for us by remaining focused on truth.

As we commit the first three weeks of the year to prayer and fasting, we’ll see God move in power, just as he did in Acts.

Ultimate Daniel Fast Prayer Points

November 12, 2020 By Kristen Feola

Ultimate Daniel Fast Prayer Points

The focus of the Daniel Fast is prayer. While it’s natural to be concerned about the food list, your priority on the fast should always be calling out to God on behalf of your own needs and the needs of others.

In my blog post, “How to Prepare for the Daniel Fast,” I suggest investing in a journal or a notebook so you can write down specific requests, how God answers them, and what the Lord does in your life on your 21-day journey. Also, take advantage of the following list of prayer points–one for each day of the fast–to make your prayer time more effective. (You can also use this guide throughout the year, not only when you’re doing the Daniel Fast.)

Finally, incorporate the daily verses in your prayers by praying them aloud. For example, on Day 1, you might say:

“Lord, I pray you’ll remove the blinders from the eyes of unbelievers that Satan has put on their spiritual eyes. Enable them to understand the glorious light of the gospel. May they believe that Jesus is your Son, who came and died for their sins, and that he is also God.”

As you speak God’s truth with faith and confidence, you’ll be declaring supernatural power over people and circumstances, which will bring about changed hearts for eternity.

Click here for a printable copy of the Ultimate Daniel Fast Prayer Points.

Day 1

Pray for unbelievers to repent and be saved.

“Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God” (2 Cor. 4:4 NLT).

Day 2

Pray for revival and a great awakening in the world.

“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land” (2 Chron. 7:14).

Day 3

Pray for Christians who are enduring persecution.

“Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life. You stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes; with your right hand you save me” (Ps. 138:7).

Day 4

Pray for families to be strengthened in the Lord.

“Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil” (Eph. 6:10-11).

Day 5

Pray for a family member or a friend who is sick.

“Lord, help!” they cried in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He sent out his word and healed them, snatching them from the door of death” (Ps. 107:19-20 NLT).

Day 6

Pray for a couple who is struggling in their marriage.

“Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony” (Col. 3:13-14 NLT).

Day 7

Pray for unity in churches and in the body of Christ.

“I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose” (1 Cor. 1:10 NLT).

Day 8

Pray for your pastor and for your church leadership.

“If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind” (James 1:5-6 NLT).

Day 9

Pray for a ministry in your church or community.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving” (Col. 3:23-24).

Day 10

Pray for a neighbor who needs to know God’s love and salvation.

“I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better” (Eph. 1:17).

Day 11

Pray for a missionary or missionary family serving in your country or overseas.

“Surely the righteous will never be shaken; they will be remembered forever. They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord” (Ps. 112:6-7).

Day 12

Pray for a widow/widower or a single adult who might be battling loneliness.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” (Ps. 34:18).

Day 13

Pray for people in your country to turn to God.

“All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations will bow down before him, for dominion belongs to the Lord and he rules over the nations” (Ps 22:27-28).

Day 14

Pray for the government leaders in your country.

“It is the Lord your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him” (Deut. 13:4).

Day 15

Pray for the sanctity of life to be upheld and celebrated.

“You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.” (Ps. 139:13-15 NLT).

Day 16

Pray for an unsaved family member or friend.

“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved” (Rom. 10:9-10).

Day 17

Pray for someone who is battling depression.

“For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs” (Zeph. 3:17 NLT).

Day 18

Pray for the people in your city and/or community.

“Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love” (1 John 4:7-8 NLT).

Day 19

Pray for your heart to be obedient to the Lord.

“If you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it” (James 1:25 NLT).

Day 20

Pray for a deeper commitment to prayer.

“Let joy be your continual feast. Make your life a prayer. And in the midst of everything be always giving thanks, for this is God’s perfect plan for you in Christ Jesus” (1 Thess. 5:16-18 TPT).

Day 21

Pray for boldness to share the gospel with others.

“For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also the Gentile.” (Rom 1:16 NLT).

The Gift of Georgia: Life Lessons from an Unexpected Friendship

The Gift of Georgia by Kristen Feola

The Gift of Georgia tells the captivating true story of the unlikely friendship between a stay-at-home mom and a lonely senior citizen. As you read about their adventures together, you’ll laugh. You might even cry. But, most of all, you’ll be inspired to look for your own Georgias and to reach out to them in compassion and love.

I have some EXCITING news—an announcement that I’ve been waiting for more than a year to share: My new book, The Gift of Georgia: Life Lessons from an Unexpected Friendship is now available!

If you’ve been following my website for a while, you may remember a blog series I wrote in 2010 to 2015 called “Her Name is Georgia.” In those posts, I shared about an elderly woman who came into my life in an unusual way. As men and women around the world read about the experiences I had with Georgia, they were touched. Many were brought to tears and were inspired to live differently.

Although several people have encouraged me to write a book about Georgia, I never did, that is until I received an email during the January 2019 Daniel Fast from a reader who wanted to know what was going on with her. That email was confirmation for me to stop making excuses and get to work.

My goal was to publish The Gift of Georgia in the fall of 2019, but God had a different plan in mind (he usually does). So for the last several months, I’ve been like a kid eagerly anticipating Christmas morning, which makes this book release even sweeter.

I hope you’ll order a copy for yourself, as well as one or two for family members and/or friends (think upcoming birthdays and Christmas). Also, you can help spread the word by posting about The Gift of Georgia on social media. I want everyone to read it!

Finally, thank you to everyone who encouraged me and prayed for me about this book. Your prayers have been answered in a big way. The Gift of Georgia was definitely worth the wait!

Spiritually Strong 6-Week Bible Study and Workout Program

April 22, 2020 By Kristen Feola

How to Prepare for the Daniel Fast
Spiritually Strong by Kristen Feola

Two places I miss going during this time of COVID-19 quarantine are church and the gym. Even though I’m thankful for virtual worship services, it’s not the same as gathering with believers and lifting our voices together to the Lord. As far as my exercise routine, I’m trying to be consistent and creative. My desire right now is to make the most of this unexpected situation so I don’t get out of shape spiritually or physically. If that’s your goal as well, I’d like to encourage you with a resource that can help.

In 2015, I wrote Spiritually Strong: The Ultimate 6-Week Guide to Building Your Body and Soul. This book is perfect for this time of sheltering at home because it includes a Bible study and a workout program. The exercises in the book can be done with only your body weight (although if you have dumbbells or other exercise equipment, that’s great; you can increase your intensity). Also, a bonus feature I provide on my website is a list of exercise instruction videos so you can learn how to perform the movements properly and avoid injury.

Recruit a few friends to go through Spiritually Strong with you. Even if you can’t meet in person to discuss the book, you can always share insights on a Facetime or Zoom call. It’s a great way to encourage each other and provide accountability.

Take advantage of this unique time. It’s an opportunity to learn something new and to honor God by taking care of your body.

The Daniel Fast and Lent 2020

February 12, 2020 By Kristen Feola

The Daniel Fast and Lent 2020

Easter is one of the two most significant holidays for Christians, the other one being Christmas. On December 25, we remember the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, who came into the world to save us from our sins. On Easter Sunday, we celebrate the victory we’ve been given through his death, burial, and resurrection.

The six weeks leading up to Easter is known as the season of Lent. Many believers choose to set aside time during this 40-day period to reflect on the Lord’s sacrifice and to consecrate themselves before him. Such preparation often includes days of fasting from certain foods, television, and/or social media. During this time, many Christians also choose to participate in a Daniel Fast.

This year, the Lenten Fast starts on Ash Wednesday, February 26, and ends on Thursday, April 9. (Ash Wednesday to Holy Thursday is technically 44 days; however, the number of days for penance and fasting before Easter is still 40: 44 days minus six Sundays equals 38, plus Good Friday and Holy Saturday equals 40).

Will you commit to fast and pray during Lent? Following are a few ways you can participate:

  • Follow my 40-day Prayer Guide.
  • Do a Daniel Fast (my book, The Ultimate Guide to the Daniel Fast, provides all you need to complete the fast successfully).
  • Use Lift Up Your Voice: 21 Daily Devotions for Your Daniel Fast to guide your Bible study and prayer time.
  • Fast one day a week.
  • Do a combination of fasts (water, juice, Daniel).
  • Print out a copy of my  Holy Week Prayer Guide and use it the week before Easter.

The most important thing you and I can do is to pray. “The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results” (James 5:16B NLT). May the Lord go before us and perform miracles in people’s lives during this Lenten season!

Leaders are Readers

May 13, 2019 By Kristen Feola

Little Girl Reading

When I was around five years old, I often wanted to read when it was time to go to bed. After my mom tucked me in at night and turned out the light, I’d sneak out from under my covers, tip-toe quietly across the room, and open the door to my happy place—my bedroom closet. In that tiny space, I learned. I dreamed. I had crazy adventures in far-off places. Many nights my mom would find me sitting on the floor of my closet, surrounded by books, still wide-awake long past my bedtime. Years later, I still enjoy curling up with a good book (but not necessarily in my closet!).

You may be an avid reader like me, or you might steer clear of books. But I think we can agree on one thing: Leaders are readers.

Whether you’re a parent raising a child, a boss supervising a department, a pastor shepherding a congregation, or a college student facilitating a Bible study, you can benefit from reading for the following reasons:

1) Reading increases your knowledge.

If you’re gathering information about traveling to Europe, looking for decorating tips, or trying to figure out how to be a better parent, you can glean information from people who have more experience and knowledge than you have. Reading is a great way to learn and grow in your understanding of any subject.

2) Reading expands your vocabulary.

When I come across a word in a book I don’t know, I’ll look online to find out its meaning (unless I’m feeling lazy). Even though I may never use that particular word in conversation, it’s still nice to learn a new term in case I see it again sometime. If I do, then I’ll know the definition.

3) Reading allows you to escape.

If you’ve had a rough day, you can open up a book and take a break from your problems temporarily. This aspect is one of my favorite parts of reading—that I can “lose myself” in a story for a little while.

4) Reading inspires you.

A couple of months ago, I read I’ll Push You, a true story about two best friends—one of them in a wheelchair—who set out to complete the Camino de Santiago, a 500-mile trek through Spain. After reading the book, I was encouraged and motivated, not necessarily to attempt the same feat, but to challenge myself to do more than I think I can.

Below I’ve highlighted a few titles I recommend—books that cover a wide variety of topics, including fasting. My goal is to encourage you and equip you with information so you can grow in the Lord, accomplish his purposes for your life, and lead others well!

Happy reading!

21 Days of Fasting and Prayer

July 29, 2018 By Kristen Feola

Today, I’m beginning 21 Days of Fasting and Prayer with my church. Our pastor has called us to this fast, and I’m thankful he has. First, because fasting is powerful and has supernatural results. Second, the timing is perfect as we prepare for the fall. Third, and most importantly, because I need it.

Just a few days ago, I wrote a blog post, “When You’re Desperate to Hear from God.” It was a rather general article about how desperation can drive us to our knees and to the Daniel Fast. But the subject idea came because I’m the one who is desperate. I’m the one who feels broken. I’m the one who needs a fresh touch from the Lord.

The past few months have been challenging, to say the least. The battle has been on every front. You’ve probably heard the saying, “Hurting people hurt people.” Well, that pretty much sums it up! Physically, I’m still recovering from a back injury that happened in December. Emotionally, I’ve been impatient, unkind, grumpy, and angry because I’m in physical pain. As a result, my relationships have suffered. I’ve become withdrawn and critical of others, often taking my frustrations out on those closest to me. And, spiritually, well, I’ve fallen into a pit – a dark, stinky, nasty pit. Thankfully, though, the Lord has been in it with me. He has stayed close while I’ve wrestled with negative emotions. My loving Father has continued to pursue me. Continued His unfailing love. Continued to speak words of life to my aching heart.

That’s why I’m ready for this this 21-day fast. I believe it’s a gift from the Lord and part of His loving-kindness toward me. God is giving me an invitation to be renewed in His presence.

So, for the next three weeks, July 29 to August 18, I’ll be fasting and praying. I’d love for you to join me.

What do you need from the Lord right now? Wisdom? Direction? Strength? Hope? Whatever it is, you can be sure that God is faithful. He’s faithful to hear your prayer and faithful to answer. He’s also able to do more than you could ever ask or even imagine (Eph. 3:20).

Do you believe it? Do you believe God can work a miracle in your situation? I do!

So, what do you say? Will you commit the next three weeks to focused prayer? If so, comment below. Also, let me know how I can pray for you.

Let’s not miss an opportunity to see God’s power displayed in our churches, our communities, and our families!

{If you’d like a prayer guide for your 21-day fast, check out my newest release, Lift Up Your Voice. Also, if you’re new to the Daniel Fast, be sure to get my book, The Ultimate Guide to the Daniel Fast.}

One Month of Psalms

June 18, 2018 By Kristen Feola

Even the most committed Christian can struggle with consistency in reading the Bible. Life gets hectic. Distractions cause us to lose focus. Demands at work and responsibilities at home overwhelm.

It’s easy to miss a day of reading God’s Word. One day becomes two. Then a few days here and there can turn into several weeks. Soon, months pass. And, in some cases, months become years.

In a recent blog post titled, “Get Alone With God,” I shared about my recent struggle with regular Bible reading. May 2018 was jam-packed with multiple soccer games, out-of-town travel, school programs, doctor appointments, and ministry commitments. My calendar was full nearly every day, and I neglected to have quality time with the Lord.

No matter how many days it has been since you’ve opened your Bible, you can get back on track. I’d like to share one idea on how you can do it.

It’s called One Month of Psalms. You complete the whole book of Psalms in 30 days by reading five psalms a day. Five psalms is a manageable amount of verses (except for the day when Psalm 119 is part of the five!).

Following are four suggestions on how to make your 30-day study of Psalms more meaningful and effective:

  • Plan your start date. – The best part about doing One Month of Psalms is that you can begin any day of the year. I suggest using an online resource to help you. For example, Psalms in a Month allows you to choose your start date, which version of the Bible you prefer, and what time of day you’d like the verses emailed to you.
  • Ponder – You’ll read several verses each day, but often one or two will speak directly to your situation. Highlight those particular verses in your Bible. Write them on notecards. Put them in your phone. Think about them as you go about your day. Then, before you go to sleep at night, read them again, if you can. Saturate your mind with God’s promises.
  • Pray for opportunities. – Look for ways to share specific Bible verses with others. Maybe God will prompt you to email or text a friend. Or, perhaps you’ll have a chance to share a verse with someone in your family. If you ask the Lord for a chance to encourage people with His Word, you can be sure He will answer that prayer!
  • Persist! – Set your heart and mind on completing Psalms over the 30-day period. Be determined! Let nothing move you! Also, don’t allow yourself to go to bed at night unless you’ve finished your reading. Ideally, you should read the assigned verses early in the morning, so you can draw strength from them throughout the day.

One reason I love the psalms is because of the range of emotions they contain. The various writers poured out their hearts to the Lord through their words. Sometimes we see anger. Other times we witness confusion and pain. But many psalms include cries of joy and victory as believers put their confidence in the Lord.

If you decide to do One Month of Psalms, let me know in the comments below. I pray that as you set aside 30 days to immerse yourself in Psalms, you’ll be strengthened and encouraged to keep reading God’s powerful Word. It’s truly life changing!

What kind of shape are you in? Are you an active person – someone who exercises several times a week? Or are you more of a coach potato whose idea of a “workout” is walking to the mailbox? What about your spiritual fitness? Do you set aside time each day to read the Bible and pray? Or do you find it difficult to be consistent in spending time with the Lord?

No matter where you are on the spectrum in these areas of your life, you can improve. You can get in better physical and spiritual condition.

Spiritually Strong: The Ultimate 6-Week Guide to Building Your Body and Soul will help you grow stronger in the Lord. The book includes a six-week Bible study and workout program that will challenge you in the following six disciplines – Bible study, prayer, fasting, healthy living, financial stewardship, and serving others.

You’ll learn to:

  • Study the Bible and understand what God is saying to you.
  • Pray with power.

The Daniel Fast and Lent 2018

February 12, 2018 By Kristen Feola

Lent 2018 logoLent is the season of preparation in the weeks leading up to Easter when believers reflect on Jesus Christ—his life, death, burial, and resurrection. Such preparation often includes days of fasting from certain foods, television, and/or social media. During this time, many Christians also choose to participate in a Daniel Fast.

The purpose of Lent is prepare the way for Easter Sunday, a day that’s all about rejoicing in the new life we’ve been given in Christ. But how can we celebrate to the fullest when men and women around us are still dying in their sin?

The truth is, we can’t.

If you’re like me, you don’t think about eternity enough. You don’t dwell on the fact that your brother or sister or spouse or child is headed to Hell. But you need to think about it. And so do I.

Hell is real place. It’s not a figment of anyone’s imagination. It’s also not a joke or a party. Heaven is also a real place. People who have accepted God’s gift of salvation will be in God’s presence forever when they die. Those who haven’t, won’t. They will spend eternity separated from God and anything good. Instead of unending joy, they’ll endure utter darkness and misery, being tormented in ways we can’t even comprehend.

Lent is a perfect opportunity to pray others into the kingdom of God. Eternity is at stake here! The need is urgent. People are desperate to know the hope we have in Christ. Lent is also a great time to intercede for other believers, who need wisdom, strength, and perseverance as they follow the Lord.

Will you fast and pray during the Lenten season, which is Wednesday, February 14, to Thursday, March 29?

Following are a few ways you can participate:

  • Do a Daniel Fast (my book, The Ultimate Guide to the Daniel Fast, provides all you need to complete the fast successfully).
  • Use Lift Up Your Voice: 21 Daily Devotions for Your Daniel Fast to guide your Bible study and prayer time.
  • Fast one day a week during Lent.
  • Do a combination of fasts (water, juice, Daniel).

The most important thing you can do during Lent is to pray. “The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results” (James 5:16B NLT). Your prayers make a difference and will change the history of people you know!

As we humble ourselves and seek the Lord during Lent, we will see God pour out His favor in miraculous ways!

girl reading bible“Before you pray, bow quietly before God, just to remember and realize who He is, how near He is, how certainly He can and will help. Just be still before Him, and allow His Holy Spirit to waken and stir in your soul the childlike disposition of absolute dependence and confident expectation.” – Andrew Murray
