I’m seeing recipes with Potatoes, I was under the understanding, that sweet potatoes were a veggie, but white potatoes were a starch (carbohydrate). I’m confused… thanks so much!!
Only a few juicing recipes. I’m sorry I don’t have more for you!

Thanks for making your recipes simple, I actually already keep many of the ingridients in my pantry. I’m preparing the Taco Stuffed Peppers this evening. I’m excited and will let you know the outcome.!
Nancy, thank you for your feedback! I’m so glad you’re enjoying the recipes!

Hi Kristen,
Just a note to say that I cannot view the recipe for pan-fried broccoli and cauliflower. Really love this recipe! The toggle button is there but won’t let me view the recipe.
Thank you for your notes and info!
Carolyn, I’m so sorry! Thanks for letting me know. I’m working on getting it posted now. This past summer I revised my website and that particular post got deleted by mistake. 🙁
You can saute them in olive oil (or coconut oil) and add onions and garlic, I suppose. I’ve never made collard greens, so someone else may want to chime in with more ideas.
I love these ideas. In order to get the most spiritual benefit out of the fast, the Bible says Daniel ate no desirable food. If it’s desirable, it’s defeating the purpose of the fast, and it’s not a fast- it’s just eating healthier. A fast is to deny your flesh what it wants, to humble ourselves. “Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, so that at the proper time He will exalt you.”
Hi, Michael! Thanks for your comments. Daniel 10:2-3 says, “At that time I, Daniel, mourned for three weeks. I ate no choice food; no meat or wine touched my lips.” The meaning of “choice food” is not clear; however, most commentaries conclude that he ate no bread or sweets. The Message paraphrase sums up Daniel’s eating habits during that time: “I ate only plain and simple food.” The guidelines provided are to help people establish boundaries for their fast. They’re not meant to be legalistic, and it’s OK if your fast looks different from someone else’s because fasting is a personal experience. The most important thing to remember is the focus of the Daniel Fast is seeking the Lord through fervent prayer.
