Hello Mrs. Feola,
I am very interested in the Daniel Fast, and I would love to try it for the first time very soon. I was wondering if you have certain brands that you like to use and just would love to hear how it has affected your life and walk with God.
Hi. Thanks for writing. Sometimes I can recommend certain brands of specific items. If you are asking about something in particular, I can try to help. As far as how the fast has affected my life, I wouldn’t have written my books or have this website if it wasn’t for my first fast. It has also helped me to stay disciplined in prayer and has kept me accountable with fasting. Those are just a few ways. Of course, I’ve learned more about the Lord and his character through fasting. Thanks for asking. š

Can you explain the flaxseed eggs? Iām confused as to how to make itš
Flaxseed mixed with water acts similarly to having an egg in a recipe. Here is how to make a flaxseed “egg”: Add 2 tablespoons of flaxseed meal and Ā¼ cup + 2 tablespoons of water in a small bowl. Stir, and let sit for about 10 minutes.
Hi! Great question. All fruit is allowed, including monk fruit. However, when it comes to the question of monk fruit sweetener, please see #10 under “Food” on my FAQs page.
I’m not sure exactly what brand I’ve used in the past for this recipe (it has been years since I made it), but most store-bought corn meal products should be fine.

I have a dessert idea you might want to add to the list. It’s boiled whole wheat pasta, sauteed with oil, grated apples, cinnamon and date honey or few smashed dates. It’s delicious and sweet.
Great! I hope you find several like you like. š

This is the third year I am doing the Daniel Fast, and you are a true inspiration.
May God continue to bless you and yours.

What kind of cornmeal did you use on your cornbread please?
